Spacing grid for fuel rods of nuclear reactors
Description
The spacing grid forms a hexagonal grid, where there is a convex bar relative to the fuel rod in this cell situated between each pair of concave bars. The individual bars may be arc-shaped. Thi shaping gives the spacing grid good strength at different temperatures and expansions. (RW)

Das Abstandshaltergitter bildet ein Sechserkrater, wobei zwischen je zwei konkaven Stegen jeweils ein in bezug auf den in dieser Zelle stehenden Brennstab konvex ausgebildeter Steg liegt. Die einzelnen Stege koennen auch bogenfoermig ausgebildet sein. Durch diese Formgebung erhaelt das Abstandshaltergitter bei unterschiedlicher Temperatur und Schwelldehnung ein guenstiges Festigkeitsverhalten. (RW)Files
