Connection of structural transformation and texture with elastic properties of austenitic chromium-manganese steels

Description
Nature of structure transformations in Fe-Cr-Mn steels alloyed with C and N with 0.5% total content is determined using X-ray and electron-microscopic techniques. Variation of steel texture at growth of degree of cold deformation and of tempering is studied. Technique to determine elastic constants of monocrystal using experimental angular dependences of the module and C-coefficients of decomposition of distribution function of polycrystalline nature crystals, is suggested. Elastic constants of steel with 0.45% of carbon are determined. 4 refs., 3 figs., 3 tabs
