Induced radiation from a relativistic electron beam in periodic structures

Description
The spectral-angular distribution of an induced X-ray parametric quasi-Cerenkov radiation (PXR), generated by a relativistic particle in periodic structures, is derived for different diffraction geometries. The possibility of experimental observation of such radiation is discussed. (orig.)
