Description

The present work is a part of several studies that have been done in order to use the IEA-R1 research reactor in BNCT (Boron Neutron Capture Therapy) application. The neutron flux increase by neutron amplifier was obtained using ANISN transport code. A fissile plate of metallic uranium and depleted fuel element was used as amplifier material.
