Description
The transport of Tc99m Generator products to hospitals by land vehicles used for diagnostic functions and anatomical organs is very different from the transport of other hazardous materials. This is because the safety and security impairment of transporting the Tc99m Generator product can cause radiological impacts for both the transporter, the public and the environment. To ensure the safety and security of transporting the Tc99m Generator product to the hospital, it must meet several eligibility requirements as stipulated in Government Regulation No. 58 of 2015 on Radiation Safety and Security in the Transport of Radioactive Substances. In order to comply with these feasibility requirements, there should be several types of tests which include feasibility testing of packages containing Tc99m Generator products, completeness of shipping documents, carrier eligibility testing, carrier feasibility testing and feasibility testing of packaged quantities. With the fulfillment of the feasibility requirements of this test, it is hoped that the package containing the Tc99m Generator product can arrive safely and safely in the hospital. (author)
