On the density and temperature independence of the Skyrme parameter in the nuclear medium from QCD sum rules

Description
The coefficient of the quartic stabilization term in the Skyrme model was conjectured to have the value 2π by Skyrme himself in order that a classical spin current be associated with the Skyrme field. There is support for this interesting conjecture from QCD sum rules at finite temperatures and densities. (orig.)
