Laser quality control of conventional and composite materials: some practical cases
Description
Lasers used in non destructive test equipment perform new and more sophisticated measures and quality control procedures owing to their specific and exclusive nature. In fact laser light allows very accurate, fast contactless measures. Thus tests can be run under dynamic conditions, without external deformations. The benefit of a contactless action allows to control and measure composite materials otherwise impossible with conventional techniques. (author)
