Description
The influence of a preliminary thermo-mechanical treatment (TMT) on the evolution of dislocation loops during the annealing of austenitic stainless steel 0Kh16N15M3T doped with helium was investigated by electron microscopy. It is shown that TMT hinders the process of loop formation to some degree. Preliminary cold working and thermal aging most efficiently suppress the evolution of radiation-induced defects during the annealing of helium-implanted steel. (Author)
