Factorization effects in π-N and π-C interactions at 40 GeV/c with the production of leading pions
- 1. Physics Technical Institute, Fizika-Solntse, Research and Production Association, Uzbek Academy of Sciences, Tashkent, 700084 (Uzbekistan)
Description
The kinetic energy and multiplicities of secondary protons are shown to be independent of the leading-pion momentum. The spectra of leading pions are found to have identical shapes in π-N and π-C collisions at 40 GeV/c
