Estimation of fluorine with 14 MeV neutrons

Description
The content of elemental fluorine has been estimated in teflon samples, using 14 MeV neutron activation analysis. The reaction used in this analysis enabled estimation of fluorine without any interference from oxygen. The detection sensitivity achieved in the present experimental setup was 20 ppm. (author)
