Low-energy S-wave pion-nucleon scattering in the Skyrme model
Description
The low-energy πN S-wave phase shifts are calculated in the Skyrme model. All 1/Nc contributions stemming from the collective rotation of the solution are taken into account properly. This is sufficient to achieve a satisfactory agreement with the empirical data. The relation to soft-pion results is discussed. (orig.)
