Thermodynamic characteristics of solvation of bromine and iodine ions in water-n-propanol mixtures

Description
Thermodynamic characteristics of bromine and iodine ion solvation in the systems sodium iodide (bromide)-water-n-propanol have been determined by the e.m.f. method at 298 K. The actual and chemical initial effects of the medium, as well as changes in the actual and chemical solvation energies of iodine and bromine ions in the systems studied, have been calculated. 6 refs.; 1 fig.; 1 tab
