Radiography of heavy materials with a 420 kV X ray generator
Description
The aim of this study is the improvement of X ray testing. The installation is described and tests are carried out with uranium samples up to 9 mm thick. Performances are compared with examination by a Ir 192 source: contrast is enhanced and exposure time is reduced (12 graphs and 6 tables)

Le but de cette etude est l'amelioration du controle par rayons X. On decrit l'installation et les essais sont effectues avec des echantillons d'uranium ayant jusqu'a 9 mm d'epaisseur.
