The effect of climatic and tectonic driving forces on radon transport within deep subsurface

Description
The technique of simultaneous radon monitoring by gamma and alpha detectors to differentiate between the radon climatic driving forces and others has been used for deep subsurface investigation at Sde-Eliezer site. The achievements of the investigation besides distinguishing between the diurnal periodical effect of the ambient temperature and the semi-diurnal effect of the ambient pressure on the radon temporal spectrum was the identification of a radon random pre-seismic anomaly preceding the Nuweiba, Mr5.5 earthquake of 27 June 2015 that occurred within Dead Sea Fault Zone
