Description
Spectral and temperature characteristics of the photoconductivity of single crystals of CdBr2 have been investigated at different excitation intensities in the region of self-absorption. It has been established that the capture of charge carriers by attachment levels results in distortion of temperature quenching of a photocurrent and in its activation at T > 220-280 K. The depths of location of attachment levels responsible for the photocurrent activation as well as the density of deeper levels have been determined. The effect of strong optical change exchange of impurities at low temperatures has been revealed
