New approach to fragmentation reactions: The nuclear lattice model

Description
A model of fragmentation reactions is proposed which describes the projectile and target as nuclear lattices of nucleons. By allowing the bonds of the lattice to be broken with a certain probability, the essential features of proton-induced reactions can be described. (orig.)
