Long-distance pipeline with an increased reach of steam suuply, particularly from a nuclear power facility

Description
A multi-stage steam pipeline is designed, transferring steam from a nuclear power plant turbine to the site of consumption in technological processes or in district heating. At least one heat and pressure transforming turbo-compressor set occurs along the steam pipeline route. This set consists of a steam turbine, a turbo-compressor, and a steam/steam heat exchanger which serves as the heater of the driving, i.e. admission turbine steam and, simultaneously, as the cooler of the compressed, i.e. emission turbo-compressor steam. Assets of the design proposed include lower operating and design pressures in the multi-stage steam line, increase in the relative length of segments flown by preheated steam, lower necessity to reduce the steam pressure before it enters the consuming facilities, which are positioned to smaller distances from the steam source, and a simple design of the conversion set, which is given by the convenient operating parameters of both the driving and compressed steam.
