Quark potential parameters from K± P reactions

Description
A quark potential composed of a colour confining part (Vconf) and a short distance part due to one gluon exchange (VOGE) is suggested. The parameters of this potential are estimated by applying the IPM quark model to the experimental data of K± p reactions at various energies. The energy dependence of the confining part is studied. Both linear and oscillator confining potentials are calculated and their results are discussed. 4 figs
