TRIGA instrumentation and control system upgrading program for pulsing research reactors
Description
An upgrading programme is described for research reactor facilities to permit a stepwise incorporation of the most recent research reactor instrumentation designs into the existing reactor control and instrumentation systems. The instrumentation can be replaced in up to four phases, each phase requiring the exchange of one existing nuclear channel permitting the upgrading to be accomplished without prolonged reactor shutdown.
