Synthesis and properties of solid solutions in Lasub(2-x)Srsub(x)CoOsub(4) and Lasub(2-x)Basub(x)CoOsub(4)(0<=x<=1) systems
Description
Copditions of preparation of Lasub(2-x)Srsub(x)(Basub(X))CoOsub(4) (x=0-1.0) compounds and their electric properties have been studied. It is shown that in strontium substitution for lanthanum the solid solutions with the K2NiF4 structure are formed at 0<=x<=1, and in barium substitution - at 0<=x<=0.7. At x<0.3, single-phase compounds are formed only in the inert atmosphere. Synthesis of A2BO4 type compounds proceeds through an intermediate stage of the ABO3 type phase formation. These phases ape mainly formed at temperatures up to approximately 900 deg C. All the solid solutions of Lasub(2-x)Srsub(x)(Basub(x))CoOsub(4) are p-type semiconductors. The magnitude of electric conductivity is determined by the production conditions mainly by temperature and gas phase composition
