Magneto-optical and optical properties of ion implanted (YBiCaSm)3(FeGeSi)5O12 garnet films
Description
In the present work we have shown the efficiency of complex investigation of the ion implanted garnet surface region by magneto-optical and optical methods. The research of magnetization processes of implanted films showed the breach of linear dependences between magnetization and equatorial Kerr effect in the region of light quantum energy ħω=2.6eV. From the analysis of the frequency dependences of the tensor of dielectric permittivity components received before and after implantation, we can conclude that implantatiom process destroys magnetic structure of garnet surface and essentially transforms electronic energy structure of implanted layer.
