Dynamical deformation of 12C nucleus in α-particle reactions
- 1. Moskovskij Gosudarstvennyj Univ., Moscow (USSR). Nauchno-Issledovatel'skij Inst. Yadernoj Fiziki
Description
Dynamical deformation of an excited oriented nucleus is considered as a function of its static deformation and degree of spin orientation. It is shown that the same nucleus in a given state produced in different reactions and therefore having different degrees of spin orientation has the dynamical deformation of essentially different shape, which, as a rule, is strongly different from the static one. The analysis demonstrates that in reactions characterized by a set of a large number of intermediate moments (channel, spins, transferred orbital momenta. etc.) the static deformation of the final nucleus is practically not manifested
