New local formulation of parastatistics and gauge symmetry

Description
A new local formulation of parastatistics different from the one given by Green is presented. Since the new paraquantization does not contain any additional restrictions on the multiparticle states, it can be considered as a more adequate field formulation of parastatistics. However, the new scheme turns out to be C-asymmetric from the outset. The algebraic realization of the new paraquantization by applying the Greenberg algebra is proposed. The gauge unitary ('colour') symmetry is formulated in this realization. (orig.)
