Thermoluminescence dating based on feldspars
Description
A brief survey is given of our technique for TL dating. The principal feature is that we utilize different mineral fractions obtained by heavy liquid separation. We use all grain sizes up to several mm and have developed methods for taking into account the beta dose contribution from inherent potassium in feldspar grains. The technique has proved particularly useful for dating burnt stones. A few dating results are presented and discussed. (author)
