Low-cycle fatique strength of the Kh16N6 steel in hydrogen gas
- 1. AN Ukrainskoj SSR, Lvov. Fiziko-Mekhanicheskij Inst.
Description
Temperature dependences of low cycle fatigue in gaseous hydrogen have been studied on transitional type steel Kh16N6. From the standpoint of hydrogen effect on durability the temperature range studied may be divided into two sections: low-temperature region (20-250 deg C) and high temperature region over (250 deg C). In the first region the hydrogen-induced decrease in durability falls with increasinture; in the second region, however, the hydrogen detrmental effect go/rows with temperature
