Changes of the tool steel structure under the treatment with accelerated W particles

Description
Structure changes in tool steels under treatment with accelerated particles of W have been investigated. It is established that the structure changes observed at ultradeep penetration of W particles is similar to that occurred during detonation deposition of coatings. Temperature of tungsten particles before conclusion with the target is amount ∼2000 K
