Determination of elements in leach solutions and residues by instrumental neutron activation analysis

Description

Elements in leach solutions and residues of thorium bearing ores have been determined by instrumental neutron activation analysis. This technique has been applied to determine Sc, Fe, Co, As, Sb, Ba, La, Ce, Eu, Tb, Yb and Th. Instrumental neutron activation analysis has advantages to the other techniques because it is an accurate, precise, specific and nondestructive method. (author)
