Some notes on a matter of controversy regarding the ITEP claims of evidence of finite neutrino mass
Description
We have earlier remarked that a lack of proper handling of the particle optical response function seems to make a consistent claim of evidence of finite neutrino mass untenable on the basis of the material presented in ITEP-83 and ITEP-84. Our arguments on this point are strongly rejected by V.A. Lubimov in his talk at this workshop. The purpose of the present note is to point at the fact that the basis for our conclusion referred to concerning ITEP-83 and ITEP-84 is actually implicitly essentially fully confirmed by ITEP information issued after our first remarks on the issue. A resulting incompatibility between ITEP-84 and the latest ITEP claim of finite neutrino mass as delivered at this workshop is pointed at. 8 refs
