Contribution of second-class currents to K → 2π
Description
The effect of second-class currents on kaon nonleptonic, two-pion decays is discussed. Amplitude relations are derived. The relative magnitude of first- and second-class effects in K/sub s/ → π0π0 is calculated in a phenomenological but rather general model. The results are compared to bag-model calculations of the first-class decays
