Synthesis of refractory material on zircon base and Si-organic binder

Description
A rise in the temperature of dissociation of ZrSiO4 is obtained by introducing SiO2 into the reaction zone to inhibit said dissociation when synthesizing materials, based on ZrSiO4 and ethyl-silicate hydrolysed in an alkali medium, by semi-dry pressing. The synthesized material has a homogeneous thin porous structure, a low thermal expansion factor and a high microhardness value
