Description
A review is given of the different classes of radiopharmaceuticals used to study cardiac metabolism. These include myocardial metabolic radiopharmaceuticals, radiopharmaceuticals for planar and single photon tomography, 'trappable' metabolically resistant fatty acid analogs for myocardial imaging, radiopharmaceuticals for positron emission tomography and finally radiopharmaceuticals for receptor binding studies.
