Description
Applications of perturbative QCD to photon-nucleon processes involving a few GeV of momentum transfer are reviewed. The idea of training nonperturbative effects still present in this kinematical region by means of diquarks is introduced. The diquark model is shown to accomplish for a consistent description of nucleon form factors, Compton scattering off protons, and electroexcitation of nucleon resonances. (authors)
