Magnetic moments of isomeric states in 141Pr and 143Pm and paramagnetism of the promethium and praseodymium

Description

The g-factors of the isomeric states 11/2- and 15/2+ in the 141Pr and 143Pm nuclei are measured by the method of differential and integral perturbed angular distribution. For 143Pm the paramagnetic corrections β are determined experimentally from the temperature dependence gβ(T). The relaxation times are measured for nuclear states aligned in reactions in a beam, metallic targets or targets made of La and Pr oxides. The results are analyzed within the framework of the quasiparticle-phonon model with allowance for spin-multipole interaction
