Fermion masses and neutrino mixing in an SU(5) (grand unification) xSU(8) (extended hypercolor) model

Description
We extend the SU(3)xSU(2)xU(1) model without scalars to SU(5) (grand unification)xSU(8) (extended hypercolor). In our model, the mixing in the leptons is identical to that for the quarks, so that the Cabibbo angle determines the mixing of ν/sub e/ and ν/sub μ/. The quark masses and mixing angles are studied for two and three generations of quarks
