Technique for neutron energy determination

Description
A method of neutron energy determination is suggested. The method consists in passing a neutron beam through moderators of different thickness and recording the moderated neutrons with a detector. To reduce influence of the measuring geometry variations and, therefore, to ensure higher accuracy of neutron energy determination a slow- and fast-neutron detector is used as a detector. It is employed for making two measurements: with and without a moderator
