Computerized tomography in diagnosis of temporomandibular joint lesions (preliminary presentation)
Description
A study is presented relating to the diagnosis of arthropathies of the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) using CT Tomoscan 350 manufactured by Philips. 22 patients have been examined so far. A series of pictures are presented showing normal and affected TMJ. The view is expressed that CT is the best visualization method which can replace the hitherto used arthrography.
