Isotopic distribution or rare gases in 239Pu and 241Pu thermal fission. Evaluation of the proton odd-even effect

The independent fission yields of rare gas isotopes produced from the fission of 239Pu and 241Pu by thermal neutrons were measured by means of on-line isotope separation. Elemental yields can be deduced for the two fissioning systems. An estimation is made of the proton odd-even effect

Les rendements indépendants des isotopes gaz rares produits dans la fission de 239Pu et 241Pu par neutrons thermiques ont été mesurés à l'aide d'un séparateur d'isotopes en ligne. Les rendements élémentaires des gaz rares ont été déduits pour ces deux systèmes fissionnants. On donne une estimation de l'effet pair-impair en proton.Additional details
