Comparative stability and optical characteristics of various-ligand coordination compounds of rare earths with some aminopolycarboxylic aids and β-diketones

Description

The possibility is discussed of the production of heteroligand complexes containing a rare earth ion, etylenediaminetetraacetic or oxyethelenediaminetriacetic acid and β-diketone. Comparison study has been made of the stability of these compounds, and it has been established that the greater serial number of the rare earths is associated with the higher stability of the complexes. A correlation has been performed between the supersensitive transition (SST) oscillator strengths of the double β-diketone and heteroligand complexes. The possibility has been shown of employing SST for the high-sensitive luminescent determination of europium and terbium in the presence of the remaining rare earths
