Study of type 2 diabetics with coronary heart disease diagnosed with 99mTc-MIBI radionuclide myocardial imagine combined measurement of plasma BNP level

Description
Objective: To explore the clinical diagnostic value of 99mTc-MIBI radionuclide myocardial imagine combined measurement of plasma BNP level in patients with diabetic coronary disease. Methods: 99mTc-MIBI radionuclide myocardial imagine was performed in 107 patients with type 2 diabetes, plasma BNP level was measured by RIA in these patients and compared to 30 normal controls respectively. Results: 51 patients with myocardial ischemia, 22 patients with myocardial infarction and 19 patients of silent myocardial ischemia. Among them, the level of BNP in myocardial infarction and myocardial ischemia groups showed significantly higher than that in control group (P < 0.01). Conclusion: 99mTc-MIBI radionuclide myocardial imagine combined measurement of plasma BNP level may provide an important value in the early diagnosis of type 2 diabetics with coronary heart disease.
