Innerhalb der Fragestellung nach dem gesellschaftlichen Ertrag eines Energiesystems werden Nachfrage- und Bedarfsentwicklungstendenzen eroertert. Der gesellschaftliche Aufwand fuer ein Energieversorgungssystem wird durch Wirtschaftlichkeit, internationale Vertraeglichkeit, Umweltvertraeglichkeit und soziale Vertraeglichkeit gekennzeichnet.
