Two-year activities according to the Chernobyl-Sasakava medical cooperation program

Description

The paper studies the main aspects of the 2-year activity according to Chernobyl-Sasakava medical cooperation program arranged by the President of Sasakava Fund on the request of the USSR government. In some regions children exposed to irradiation as a result of the Chernobyl accident were examined. Using a specially developed counter one examined blood and thyroid, as well as, content of Cs-137 in the whole body
