3D-hexahonal coarse mesh neutron diffusion calculation method
Creators
Description
3D-coarse mesh expansion method is used to solve neutron diffusion equation for nuclear reactor core which is composed of hexagonal lattice assembly, and to obtain a nine point high order finite differential equation similar in form to low order finite differential equation. The nine point high order finite differential equation can be solved by using of solving technology problem of low order finite differential equation. The founded method may be applied to 2D or 3D-neutron diffusion calculations for nuclear core design and depletion analysis
