Study of interaction between indium chloride and tetrabutylammonium tripolyphosphate

  • 1. AN SSSR, Moscow. Inst. Obshchej i Neorganicheskoj Khimii

Description

A study has been made into the interaction of indium chloride with tetrabutylammonium tripolyphosphate, using the method of solubility at 25 deg C. Neutral indium tripolyphosphate In5(P3O10)3x21H2O has been isolated. No mixed indium and tetrabutylammonium tripolyphosphates are formed. As it has been established by x-ray phase analysis, a mixture of In4(P2O7)3 and In(PO3)sub(3n) is formed as a result of thermal decomposition of In5(P3O10)3x21H2O at 900 deg C
