Description
Acoustical transducers for operation in fast neutron reactors: the acoustic devices currently installed into the primary circuit of LMFBR are of great interest in the general field of the safety of operation of the plants. A wideband (0 - 5 MHz) multi-purpose ultrasonic transducer has been developed. Its technology using a lithium niobate crystal enables it to withstand the hostile environment up to 6000C, thus avoiding the use of wave-guides

Les dispositifs acoustiques implantes dans la cuve primaire de reacteurs a neutrons rapides sont d'un grand interet dans le cadre general de la surete de l'exploitation des centrales. Un capteur ultrasonore au niobate de lithium couvrant un large domaine de fonctionnement en temperature (0 - 6000C) et en frequence (0 - 5 MHz) a ete developpe pour ameliorer la qualite de ces appareils qui s'affranchissaient jusqu'alors de l'hostilite du milieu de travail grace au recours a des guides d'ondesAdditional details
