Description
The commissioning of a spectroscopic version of the high-speed CCD camera ULTRACAM is described. This visitor instrument, ULTRASPEC, uses an electron-multiplying CCD for fast and low-noise read-out and was tested with the EFOSC2 spectrograph on the ESO 3.6-m. (orig.)
