Finite element nonlinear static and buckling analysis of cooling tower
- 1. Institute Atomenergoproekt, Leningrad (USSR)
Description
The methods, algorithms and program of static and buckling analysis of high productive cooling tower with accounting of their interaction with support foundation and soil are regarded. The method of buckling, analysis which allows to investigate both local and global form of buckling is suggested. The method of static analysis with material and geometrical nonlinearities is described. The constitutive relation for nonlinear concrete which had been derived from flow theory are used. The special multilayered shell finite element is used. The numerical results of nonlinear static and buckling analysis are presented
