Uranium metallogenic conditions evaluation of Xinchengzi secondary volcanic basin in Daban basin of Inner Mongolia

Description
Xinchengzi secondary volcanic basin is in Daban basin which is located to the south of the Zhalantun volcanic-rock related uranium mineralization prospect. Meanwhile, it is part of Huanggangliang-Ulanhot polymetallic metallogenic belt. The tectonic location, basement and uranium concentration, structural features, magmatic activity, wall rock alteration and uranium mineralization characteristics of the cover were analyzed based on the tectonic position, strata, intrusive rocks, structure and basic geological characteristics of uranium mineralization features. With these analyses, the author thinks that the secondary volcanic basin has good metallogenic potential. (authors)
