Comparison of different computer-assisted evaluation procedures of thallium-201 myocardial scintigrammes in the diagnosis of coronary diseases
Description
The aim of this investigation was to compare five different methods of evaluation of myocardial scintiscanning with each other as to their value in the diagnosis of coronary diseases, and to work out recommendations for routine diagnostics. Coronary angiography and ventriculography were used as methods of reference. In two evaluation procedures the scintigrammes, upon computer processing, were judged by the investigator according to optical criteria, three further evaluation methods were predominantly computer-oriented and were to provide semiquantitative results less influenced by the investigator's subjectivity. A further aim of the investigation consisted in verifying the author's own results and comparing them with the literature. (orig.)

Zielsetzung der eigenen Untersuchungen war, die Wertigkeit von fuenf verschiedenen Myocardszintigraphie-Auswerteverfahren bezueglich der Diagnostik der koronaren Herzerkrankungen miteinander zu vergleichen und Empfehlungen fuer die Routinediagnostik zu erarbeiten. Als Referenzmethode diente die Koronarangiographie und Ventrikulographie. In zwei Auswerteverfahren wurden die Szintigramme nach Rechnerbearbeitung vom Untersucher nach optischen Kriterien beurteilt, drei weitere Auswerteverfahren waren ueberwiegend rechnerorientiert und sollten semiquantitative, von der Subjektivitaet des Untersuchers staerker unabhaengige Ergebnisse liefern. Ein weiteres Ziel der Untersuchung war, die eigenen Ergebnisse anhand der Literaturangaben zu ueberpruefen und zu vergleichen. (orig.)
