Four-color photometry of spiral galaxies: comparison with Markaryan galaxies

Description
The results are given of UBVR surface photometry of seven normal spiral galaxies. The photometric parameters determined for these galaxies and galaxies with an ultraviolet excess in their radiation are compared. In particular, it is shown that after subtraction of the brightness of the nuclei from the integrated brightness the galaxies of these two types exhibit an almost identical distribution in the (U-B, B-V) diagram
