Description
Progress is reported on the development of low-level radiation monitors for use in environmental monitoring and on the development air monitors for monitoring nonnuclear energy-system pollutants in the environment, with emphasis on monitoring carcinogenic polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) produced in coal conversion processes. Measurements of low-energy proton energy loss in hydrocarbon gases are reported
